Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Game — Classic Upper Peninsula Ski Vacation

Ski Big Powderhorn Mountain in your browser. Carve real runs like Cannonball and Ricochet, ride past the red Riblet doubles, hit the kickers and outrun the moose. A free SkiFree-style browser game from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Bessemer, Michigan.

How do you play the Big Powderhorn Mountain ski game?

Press Space or click to start. Steer with the mouse or the left and right arrow keys, click or press Space to jump, press the down arrow to point straight downhill, F to tuck for speed and P to pause. On a phone or tablet, on-screen Jump and Tuck buttons appear.

How is the game scored?

Your score is your vertical (the vert counter) times ten, plus style points for hitting the kickers. The game also tracks runs skied, time and your best score.

What is the moose?

Once you pass 100 on the vert counter, a moose starts chasing you down the hill. If it catches you, the run ends and ski patrol takes you down in the toboggan.

Is the game free?

Yes. It is free and runs in any modern web browser on a computer, phone or tablet, with nothing to download or install.

Is the game an accurate map of Big Powderhorn Mountain?

No. It borrows run names such as Cannonball and Ricochet and the red Riblet double chairlifts from the real resort, but it is a game, not a representation of the real ski hill. Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort itself is in Bessemer, Michigan, in the western Upper Peninsula; for the real trail map, see map.bigpowderhornmountain.com.
